January 7, 2012

Wow...I haven't posted since August! A lot has happened...I'm not sure where to start! I'll let my pictures be my guide! Apparently September was fairly uneventful. October was Riley's 2nd birthday and Halloween. We had a very small party for Riley's birthday with an Elmo theme. I was pretty proud of the Elmo cupcakes I made! For Halloween Riley was Elmo, Devin was a cowgirl, daddy was a fireman ;) and I was a vampire. In November we celebrated Thanksgiving with a quiet day at home with lots of food and relaxing! A lot happened in December...I got a new car (Scion Xb) which I love, daddy was in an eating challenge with a couple of his friends. The challenge was to eat a huge Loco Moco, which consists of 6 cups of rice, 6 hamburger patties, 6 eggs, and a bunch of gravy in 30 minutes! Daddy didn't finish, but he did pretty good! Jeremy found out shortly before Christmas that his recruit class will be graduating early...the ceremony will be January 28th. We are very proud of him, as it has been a long and difficult journey! I got to stay home for 2 1/2 weeks with my girls during winter break...it was very hard for us to go back to work/school/daycare! We celebrated Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with a quiet night and day at home...again, lots of food, presents, and fun! We rang in the New Year by decorating with balloons and streamers, watching the ball drop in N.Y. and blowing our horns, inviting some friends over, eating lots of food, drinking sparkling apple cider out of champagne glasses, doing some of our own little fireworks, and watching fireworks at the neighbors. Finally, our big news...I found out in the beginning of December that I was pregnant with Baby Buttz #3. I managed to keep it a secret until Christmas Eve, when I told Jeremy and the girls. I am due August 4th (my sister's birthday), which means that I will have a scheduled c-section sometime during the last two weeks of July...another July birthday (Devin's is July 22nd and mine is July 29th)! We are all very excited! So, below I have posted random pictures, most of which are in backwards order...the important thing is that they're all there! We hope you all had a very happy Christmas and New Year's!

Devin made this arrangement for us at school!
