April was a busy month for us. We celebrated Easter with Easter egg coloring and a day 'o fun for Devin! After she found her basket of goodies from the Easter Bunny, ate some candy, and played with some new toys we blew bubbles outside, drew with sidewalk chalk, played ball, played Candyland and Crazy Eights, watched movies and ate yummy food! Devin and I got to go to the Merry Monarch parade in April also (daddy had to work that day). Merry Monarch is a huge hula festival they have here in Hilo every year. We saw some beautifully decorated, Hawaiian-style floats. Devin had an excursion to a private ranch for preschool, and got to ride a horse for the first time! Just recently she also got to visit a turtle and tortoise farm and ride a tortoise, too! April 15th was daddy's birthday. We surprised him with decorations and an ice cream cake, but unfortunately mommy forgot to take any pictures!
We've all been watching as mommy's belly slowly grows bigger and bigger! We're looking forward to finding out the sex of the baby on June 3rd! Devin graduates from preschool on May 21st, although she'll continue to go over the summer until kindergarten starts at the end of July. We're also planning on moving into a new house the end of June. We'll be moving outside of town, so further from work and school, but we'll have a bigger house, a nice, big yard for Devin and Lilo to run in, and a nice, quiet neighborhood with other kids! So, we've got a lot happening in the next few months! We'll keep you posted! Take care!
